I'm home!

Ladies, I need to tell you that the surgery was so much easier than I had anticipated. I was told that it would be worse than my C-sections. Fortunately, I get to disagree. I was up sooner, used less pain medication and could even sleep on my tummy the same night.
All that worrying for nothing LOL. If I could encourage any of you, relax. Honestly, I was so relaxed going into the surgery and even when I came out I was very calm. Glad to be home and I'm going to lay down again. A little tired and since I've come home my stomach is a bit queasy, but other than that I am so relieved that it is over.

Oh dear. I'm sorry you're feeling so scared. I'm a little nervous too. The surgery is a big deal and it's natural for us to feel this way. It's encouraging to read the posts of women who have recently come home. It puts my mind somewhat at ease too -- although I'm still taking my blanket and a picture of my dog with me to the hospital. I'll be thinking of you on Tuesday. Let us know how you're doing. -- Laura
