Thigh cramps and lower back pain

In 2000 I had a complete hysterectomy, left 1 ovary. I'm 51 years old. For months now my upper thighs have been aching. Feels like menstral cramps. Want to curl up in a fetal position. Have to take Tylenol at night to make the pain go away. I went the other day and had a pap. Everything fine. The doctor put me back on estrogen since my estrodial level was on the low side. Today I called the nurse again to tell her the pain is still there. Waiting to hear back.
I just wonder if it's endo. coming back.

Help if you can.

Your pain could be endo or even adhesions. If it is endo, using estrogen could make things worse. You may want to talk to your doctor about also using progesterone to balance out the estrogen that could be feeding the endo.

I would highly recommend keeping a journal regarding your pain. You might like using ReliefInsite’s online pain diary.

There are a number of reasons your back and thighs could ache, so you will want to work with your doctor to see if there are any other medical conditions going on. Try to stay hydrated and if you don't already do so, try to walk at least several times a week.

Many best wishes to you! s
