Big surprise hrt

Hello everyone, had my 6week check on the 28th June. All was well no bleeding after my tah/bso .
After night sweats, day sweats, and feeling down wave of emotions ect...... My first question was..... right then here is how I have been feeling, flushes ,fluhes, flushes , to my surprise my gyn say's I can stop that today, this is the guy who said no hrt before!my op! anyone else's doctor had a change of heart? He said I obviously need something so I am on Livial, my endmetriosis was bad, all like superglue! and had to chisel it all away.He said the endo returning was very small, and I would benefit more on the hrt.
I feel really lucky. So can not wait for it to kick in , two of my frinds are on blach cohash and are responding well. (oh yes my gyn recomended sage for his sister-in-law who is in her early 40 's and just started the meno working well he tells me.

Love wysteria
Kisses to all

Hi,
I just had a question about the sage. How is it taken, and is it supposed to help with the hot flashes? Good luck with your HRT. Let us know how you make out.

My best to you.

Big surprise hrt

Hi,

I've heard of sage helping the hot flashes but it was in a tea type and not very tasty! I think pill form would be much easier to handle.

Would this be something that would be found in a natural vitamin store? Now I'm very curious and will ask my Dr if this is something that I might be able to take.

Thanks for the info!

Hi Wysteria,
Glad the HRT is working for you. I wasn't able to find sage tablets at the health store in the mall. Do you know if they can be ordered online anywhere?
