Hi! I've been lurking all around HysterSisters for a few days - there is SO much good information! This is my first thread. I feel so blessed to have "happened upon" this site!
Don't have a surgery date yet - sometime mid-Sept., after our vacation in Maine! I'm going to have a TAH ( taking ovaries, leaving cervix) and A & P repair. Will I ever sit again??

I was scared initially, but know your support and much prayer will get me through.
Concerned about HRT after reading forum, but I know it's one day at a time.

Join your Sisters on the Pre-Op Hysterectomy Support message board where you can ask questions as you think of them. I think you will find the information in this link to the Pre-Op Page very useful as well.

If you have questions about hormone therapy, there's a message board for that, too! You're welcome to post a new thread on the Hormone and Menopause Central message board for the best input at this point.
