This may be a silly question, but I'm confused. I thought I wouldn't have "cramps" anymore now that my uterus is gone... but I swear it feels the same... and unfortunately almost as intense! Does anyone else have this issue?
Same here... I keep telling my dh... Why am I having cramps when there's nothing down there to cramp?
Kind of the same heavy dull back ache as before too.. I guess it's part of the healing process? Maybe also because we kept our ovaries?
Me too and they took everything from me. I thought it might be healing pains from where the surgery was or else phantom pains. You know........like you hear about when someone has a limb amputated but it still hurts.
Same here! Just yesterday I felt the usual monthly back cramping. I don't have ovaries! I took it for phantom pain when I counted the days and it was time for my period...the one that isn't coming! Glad you posted this.
49, TAH 7/17, ovaries too...kept portion of cervix.
Mt surgery was 5/22 and everything was removed. I too experienced those very same pain and had to keep reminding myself that I no long had a uterus. The cramping has subsided for me so hopefully, your's will too.
I guess were all normal...I to have that cramping thing going on. I have my ovaries and tubes. So when you ovulate, don't your ovaries to the same thing, but just absorb into your body? Does that cause cramping???
Does anyone still have a pulling feeling in their belly button?
This should be a new post but here goes..
Whenever I stand up, I get a pulling like someone on the inside pulling my belly button inward..
Does not feel good... Not really painful but still annoying! This isn't adhesions is it?
