Ovestin vaginal cream

Has anyone used Ovestin vaginal cream? My doc prescribed it for vaginal dryness and itching.

I haven't used that particular vaginal cream but at one time I was using compounded estriol cream that also had just a bit of testosterone in it. Estriol is also the estrogen in your Ovestin. It was effective for taking care of the annoying symptoms of low vaginal estrogen. It was prescribed to use nightly for two weeks and then a maintenance dose of twice a week was used after that.

Have you started using the cream yet? If so, are you noticing any difference? Hopefully someone who has used the same cream your doctor prescribed will be along to share experiences.
