Good Morning BEST,
Wednesday Weigh-In reports a 1 pound loss. I'm shocked. Told DH last night I felt bloated and would not be surprised to see a 3 pound gain. I've had a few Pepsi's here and there, snacked on jelly beans (finally threw them away last night) and potato salad that never got thrown away over the weekend (DH would have had a fit.) Dinner last night was a skinless thigh, potato salad, bag of 100 calorie popcorn, jelly beans and a huge bowl of sherbet. I've really been struggling with fatigue this past week or so and it "brings me down" to the point where I am eating for comfort. I'm tired, achey and moody and hate feeling this way so last night I reached out for food. Should have gone but just couldn't motivate myself to do it.
I took the day off work which is something I NEVER do but just felt like I needed to lay low and relax. I'm drinking water and am deciding on breakfast. Lunch will be OP, plenty of good food to choose from.
I second Lynn's motion for some cooler weather. Anyone??? Please???
Hi to Ali and the rest of the BEST. Gonna go shower and see if I can shake away some of these cobwebs in my head. Stay cool and hydrated today!
Cool! New smilies!!

Good Morning Everyone! Wickedly Hot and Humid here in Michigan too. My windows are steamed up from the outside.
I tried to walk, but only got in one mile. Might have to do some time on the .
I've had my OP breakfast, and I've started on my water. I'll head off to Curves once I cool down from walking.
Lots of movement today, but it will be done indoors I think.
Have a BEST OP day!

Hi ladies! Same type weather here.......last night we had one wicked T-storm with over 2 inches of rain. Humidity lingers today which has cut into my walking schedule. I just cannot deal with this heat. Thank God for air conditioned Curves or I would never get any exercise in in the summer. Food has been ok.........had the munchies yesterday but still not as bad as usual. Water has been no problem at all. Today is grocery shopping day as I need to stock up once again on good and healthy foods.
Catherine...............love the new smilies!!!!!!!!! Love the little guy on the
Stay cool everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning BEST Friends
Thought I'd better check in and let you know I'm still here and still kicking. Life has simply taken over and I've had to give up computer time in order to get other things done. I'll post on the Chatter thread - But I'll be back, I promise.
Bkft: oatmeal and hot tea
Lunch: salad w/tuna flaked on top w/fresh jersey tomato
Dinner: something that doesn't require me to cook. It's
Sorry I can't send any cooling temps anywhere - we don't have any!!!!! It's brutal out there. 96F yesterday with 96% humidity? We're supposed to reach 98-100F if the cloud cover lifts (which it's trying).
I've walked the past 3 nights despite the humidity. I actually enjoyed it - my neighbor was a trooper but she was dying last night so we gut it shorter. I was just working up a sweat too - darn!
I've gained 3 lbs but it's mostly water retention due to heat index. I"m not worried about it - will come off.
Got a "total gym" type thing given to us. DH & I got a workout setting it up in basement. Now perhaps I can add something different to my program. Worth a try - it was FREE!!
I'll see you all later - have errends to run. Reno trip, block party, and MIL's party are keeping me from doing anything else like spend time with BEST friends.
Be cool, be safe, check on an elderly or house bound friend!
M.

Hello Lynn, Julie, Ali, Emily, Melissa, Nancy and everyone else
It is just about too hot to eat!
You girls who are drinking hot tea for bkfst must have air conditioning.
Bkfst today is egg beaters with fresh zuchinni, green peppers and onion and a glass of ff soy milk.
snack will be cantalope and watermelon
lunch will be stuffed banana pepper with a bit of burger, onion and green pepper with cream cheese.
snack will be yogurt
Not sure about dinner, my girlfriends DS is leaving to move to Lima today and she it so upset and called and asked me to go with her and another friend to a movie and dinner. Not sure if I can go because I work until 7:00. Soooo, who knows?? Maybe I will come home and eat a bowl of cereal or another yogurt.
Today is the Advanced work out. Wow, I am with you Emily, if our Curves wasn't air conditioned there is no way we could do this or any other kind of work out. Friday will be the last class for this and then we are on our own to keep it up. She will do another class in October, but,,,,, I will be enjoying the beach at the Outer Banks.
See you on the chatter side.

Hello all Best friends Sorry I've been MIA again.
I've been doing good staying OP. I'm down a total of 19 pounds now since my surgery Exercise has been good.
DH & I were out at 6:30am with the dogs, we've been running with them for the 1st mile and then walking about 1 1/2 miles. Then I went to the gym and did 10 minutes on the stair climber and a 60minute cardiokick class.
Lots of veges from the garden to eat.
Drinking lots of water.
I will check out "chatter". I guess I missed out on that while I was gone.
Everyone stay OP: and eat healthy!
Bye,
Yvonne
