hernia repair with TAH?????

I think I may have a hernia in my upper abdomen, is it something the gyn will check for during surgery or is that a completely different type of surgery for another time?
Anyone who has had a hernia before a hysterectomy please let me know what happened with you and how it was resolved.

I didn't have a hernia so I can't share experiences with you. But, it seems to me that this is something that you should discuss with your dr. I've read posts where there has been 2 surgeons present to do two procedures. Maybe you could check into that poossibility?
