Anyone else with Breast/Ovarian Cancer

I am new to this site and am having a TAH + ovaries and anything else needed due to the posibility of ovarian cancer. I had a mastectomy in May 2006 and have since then found four large cycts on one of the ovaries. No biopsy can be done due to concerns about cells releasing into the abdominal cavity. Have all the sysmtoms of ovarian cancer plus elivated CA125 levels. We are unsure as to diagnosis but will know after the pathology comes back after surgery. Long on info, but really just wondering if anyone else has had the breast/ovarian cancer connection? And if so, what has be treatment and the outcome? Thanks for your help and good luck to all.

Welcome, xopink. I had ovarian, but not breast cancer. I just wanted to wish you well with your upcoming surgery. Does yourgyn/onc think there is a chance it could just be fluid filled cysts? I hope and pray that will be the case. How high was your CA125?

Be sure to rest and pamper yourself after the surgery and let us know how everything turns out.
