Just when I thought I was ready.....

to begin my new life.....I was out and about last Tuesday, feeling the best I had in years actually, when suddenly, while sitting at a stoplight I was rear-ended in my Camry by a Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 going 60 mph. Thank God I was wearing my seatbelt. To be honest, I hadn't been wearing it like I normally do since it irritates my incision and I had argued with myself all that day about wearing it. My incision has a bruise across it and my swelly belly is worse than it has ever been. OB/GYN says everything is ok as far as he can tell, but I need to stay off my feet as much as I can for the first week, so that's what I have been doing. I also have severe whiplash so I've been going to physical therapy 3xs a week. Problem is I feel like I am starting all over again!!! Everything now is upsetting me and I have a very negative attitude towards everyone and everything. ARGHHH!!! My car is totalled and I feel physically, mentally and emotionally totalled. I'm trying to pull it together but it's just not working......tried to go thru my clothes and get things ready for returning to work and none of my pants or skirts fit, my skin is dry and itchy, I want to take a bath but can't yet, I can't have full sex with my hubby and I desperately need to reconnect with him that way, I am just falling apart......ARRGGHHH!!!! I will say I find great amusement in the feminine product commercials......a wicked deep laugh, it's kinda scary!!!! LOL!!!

i had my hysterectomy back in nov and was jsut surfing. that's terrible but thank god you are ok! please be careful and i know this wasn't your fault. hang in there and soon enough you will be running aruond and having a grwt time with your hubby so sorry for your set back! em
