good news & bad news....

Hi Ladies! well, I had my hysteroscope/D&C/Polypectomy this morning. Still tired though. According to the Dr. the prcedure went well......but.....yup, there it is! the big "BUT". She said there's an awful lot of scarring in there and she's not real hopeful for this procedure to work. *sigh* There's a chance.....but we'll wait and see. Now I just wait for the pathology reports and the follow up appointment in two weeks (9/12/07). I can't wait to question her with a clear head cuz I thought there was SUPPOSED to be scarring since I had the ablation. Maybe it's a different kind of scar tissue? *shrug* oh well, just an update for those interested. Thank You all for your support and encouragment!

OH! almost forgot the BEST part! *the GOOD news part* See how tired I am? I got a phone call this afternoon and I was APPROVED for a local service that paid ALL of my hospital bill AND *the BEST news* is good for 6 months! It won't cover the Dr. or the pathology or the anasthesiologist (sp?) but at least it's a BIG help! Now, at least "IF" this one didn't work and I have to go for the hyst, the hosp bill will be covered! Thanks again!

I hope you are feeling better today and not so tired! And how wonderful that your hospital bill is taken care of!

Make a list of all your questions and concerns to take to your follow up appointment. Hopefully your doctor will be able to answer all of your questions and you can decide what your next step should be. Hopefully the surgery has been successful and you can avoid a hyst!

Best wishes to you! s
