A different kind of flood

Well had my pre-op this morning for my trip to the castle on Monday, and everything was fine untill the very end when a nurse says " just keep an eye on that Tropical Storm, if it rains too much we will call and re scheduel." WHAT??? O.k. I may have been a little off the last few days but I saw nothing about a storm in the news. Sure enough one is fixin to hit tonight. It formed all of the sudden, I have not been nervous at all about my surgery, but I am now terrified they will call and cancel. I have been waiting for so long and don't know If I can wait another month. I have family flying in to help take care of me.... o.k. Done ranting. Just needed to vent I guess.

I sure hope you got to go do your surgery. It's raining cat's and dog's at my house right now. I'm in Louisiana and we are getting gusts and lot's and lot's of rain. I know you guys got lot's of rain earlier in the morning.

Let us know....and good luck!

A different kind of flood

Hi there, I live pretty close to you ( Crosby ) and so far so good here.
This has been such a WET year, I understand your concern. I'll pray that the rain doesn't get really bad this time and your surgery can proceed as planned.

All is good for me here! That nurse just gave me a blood pressure spike. I can now move on to stress out over other things that beyond my control. Thank you for listening to my rants!
