Hair loss

Is it just me or what??? My hair is so Brittle and coming out. I just took a shower and did my usual routine of brushing my hair with Conditioner in it. OMG there was so much hair that was coming out.... I use expensive hair care products so my hair won't break and get alot of split ends...

Is this common to have your hair fall out like that??? and become very dry and brittle???

I kept both ovaries. But the doc did surgery on both of them, one to drain a cyst and the other she removed a Lemon size cyst...

Please help, all info is helpfull. Thank you Sisters for taking your time to read and give great advice

Hair loss

Each time I have had surgery my hair usually comes out a lot. I have heard it was from the anesthetics they use in surgery. It usually tapers off after awhile. Hang in there.

Hair loss

I had a TVH/BSO on 8/13. My hair was falling out like crazy and felt like straw. I am 5 weeks post op and my hair is not falling out as much and is beginning to feel softer. From what I have read on this web site this is very common. So hang in there, as in time your hair will start to feel better as you start to recover.

I have the same problem I thought it was due to maybe my thyroid needed to be adjusted again but maybe its just due to surgery. Yet another not plesent side effect lol

Although Im still better then before surgery that is for sure!

Hair loss

My Dr. told me that my hair falling out is a side effect of general anesthesia.
