Sex after a hysto?!?!?!

okay so I have a hard time talking to my mother about this... but for some reason it seems to be easier to write it to you all! Ok again I am 24 and my periods have always been terrible....On my wedding night I was in tears because intercourse was so painful...so I thought okay it was my first time...I was told it would hurt!!! So the next night it still hurt and WOW would you believe that about 3 weeks later we found out that we were pregnant...so during my pregnancy sex was still very painful..again I thought "this must be because I am Pregnant" After my DS was born I waited my 6+ weeks and continued to our normal activitys...Sex this time was sooooo bad that I was scared but friends and family said that after natural child birth sex is different and it takes time to heal...again I assumed that it was normal. About 1 year after my DS was born I decided to talk to my Dr. And WOW all that is not NORMAL!!!! SO I had a lapsoscopic exploritory surgery and found endometriosis and the adenomyoma. I have been on the Lupron shot and still no reliefe during intercourse.

So my question is after the hysto is a NORMAL sex life obtainable?!??!!? I have never enjoyed the experience and I have heard lots of comments and jokes about the big O and I have never experienced it!!!! So ladies is it possible or not?!?!?!?

Sex after a hysto?!?!?!

YES!!! And again YES!!! And the big O is also there! I have never had a problem with the big O, so I was afraid I would have a problem after the hyster. But NOPE!! And the best part is NO PAIN!! I have had pain with sex for a long time, so now it is better than ever!

Sex after a hysto?!?!?!

Oh, you poor girl! I too have experienced painful sex for many years. I have learned to "live with it", and my DH and I have gotten very "creative" so as not to cause too much pain..........can't wait to find out what it will be like after the hyster.

Thanks for posting!

Sex after a hysto?!?!?!

Thank you so much for all of your comments! I have never had a good sexual experience, so I am so excited to have a great future Pian free!!!! My DH has been soooooo understanding and we have worked thru it together. One of best things about the possiblity of pain free sex, is that my DH will not feel like his causing me pain and agony. I am excited for the day.....
