Anyone Offered a Mini Tummy Tuck by Gyno?

I have been reading on the "Tummy tuck too" thread but I wondered if anyone else was offered a mini by their gyno. Mine just made a comment about me being slender while discussing the incision. I responded w/ "Bless you, could your tell my family that?"

My family has made comments about the weight I have gained (their belief, I actually haven't gained any) He told me to tell them I had a bowling ball in my abdomen. Then he told me if I wanted he could do a mini tummy tuck and pull "this" back down.

I wasn't sure how I felt aobut that but after some research I think I am okay with it. One of my deciding factors was listening to sme personal accts that complained about their abdomen "lapping over" at the scar. I am having a TAH.

So, anyone else offered this or had it done?

As far as your family goes - it always amazes me how people can be so cruel. Who cares if you put on a little weight? Does it really matter to them, effect THEIR lives?

Okay, I'll step down now, just hit a nerve there! I have family that can be the same way and I find it rude and frustrating. If my cousin gains 5 pounds (or 10 or 20 or 30.......) what do I care? I love her and as long as she is happy, I'm happy for her..........UGH!
