Discharge and odor question

Hello all,

Just wandering if anyone had an idea. I've had an odor down there for about a week. My DD was sitting by me and she went to crawl down and told me I stink thats how I first really noticed it. Now I got like a milky discharge. I looked down there cause it felt funny and you could see it leaking out. I called my doctor but he is out sick so the doctor on call will call me back. But I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas what it could be ?

Thanks
Mandi

that would be odor not an odar... although it may have been bad enough at times to create it's own word!!!!!

Discharge and odor question

I had a yucky smell while my stitches were disolving. The Dr. warned me about it before I left the hospital. And boy was he right. But I've also had bacterial infections that smell yucky too. You could have the Dr. check to make sure what it is and if it's treatable. Hope it goes away for you soon.

Discharge and odor question

Well the dr on call finally called me and said he thinks it is just healing. and to schedule my post op for sooner (its friday) well my dr isnt in til monday and he's very hard to get into so I talked to his nurse and she can get me in on monday when he's back.

But she thinks I should go to the ER if I think it is an infection and she thinks its an infection. But to go to the ER here means sitting there for m inimum five hours YUK. So i dont know what to do I think I'll wait and see if it gets better but if it gets worse Ill probably go in to the ER.

I have the same thing! Granted, its not as intense as it was when I first got home.....

I still have a slight tinged discharge, just enough to need 1 panty liner a day.

I went to the Doc around 10 days out, to get the staples removed. I asked her about the odor and she didn't have a clue. She just said its part of the healing process.

Whatever... I go back on Monday so I'll ask her again. I hope she does a vaginal exam. As uncomfortable as it will probably be, I want to know I'm "good to go".

Discharge and odor question

WEll today I had a big gush of red blood and a blood clot. SO i called the oncall doctor (mine not back til monday ) and she told me come into the office and turned out my stitches are just dissolving so she cleaned it up in there and then found a spot that was oozing so she cauterized that so I tore the cuff a little bit. This doctor was not at all gentle and it was a very painful experience. I look forward to going to my dr on monday for my post op and he can really check me out. So off to lay down so I dont do anymore damage.

That is scary, but at least they got you in and you are OK.

I hate when they are not gentle, you'd think they'd get it, especially a woman Dr!!!!

Take it easy!!! That is an "order"

Yes MAAM LOL....it was scary when I saw that bright red blood I starting shaking I was scared. I thought a woman dr would be more gentle to, but I'll take my male obgyn any day he is much more gentle. Im glad to know Im not gonna hemmorage or something. And I promise I will take it easy.
