Weird feeling in throat down to belly button?

I was just curious if any body else had this weird feeling. My lavh was on Mon. Oct 8th. (they did total hyst after all). Ever since I've been in the hospital. I've had this strange feeling in my throat & feels like it goes down to my belly button (pushing it out). My chest kinda hurts but don't know how to describe it. I guess it feels like possible bronchitis. I did have to have oxygen a few times in hosp & do a breathing treatment into this thing you blow & it floats up. Don't know what it's called.
I'm just tired of feeling like my throat was pulled out of my body & my chest, belly button hurting. I'm sure it's from being inabated (sp?) Should I call Dr.? It hurts to cough, eat, etc. How did you feel?

Weird feeling in throat down to belly button?

My throat felt very thick afterwards for about a week and a half later. The feeling eventually went away.
If you still have pain in your chest give your Dr. a call Monday. Thats what they are there for. I'm sure they have heard every question in the book.
Also did you get to take your breathing thing home from the castle? I was able to. And used it 3-4 times a day for about a week to help out my lungs. If you have it use it. I hope you feel better.

Calling your dr sounds like a good idea. I think that it's best to err on the side of caution.

Please let us know what you learn.

I did't have a problem with my throat at all but if I did, I would not hesitate to call my . immediately. Hope you are well soon.

Weird feeling in throat down to belly button?

Thanks guys - I called my Gyn. He said he couldn't help me over the phone but to go to the ER & get checked out! So, I'm back from the ER! Boy I just feel like a pin cushin! I had 4 tubes of blood drawn, chest xray, mri of lungs to rule out blood clot in lungs etc. Come to find out I've got the start of pneumonia & a possible thyroid problem. Great go in for hyst. - come out with pneumonia (going around) & a possible thyroid problem. So they put me on a zpac & I'm to follow up with primary care dr. on Monday & gyn for followup on Mon. p.m. not to mention - husband still has to drive me to all the appts. He's going to hate it after it's all said & done. I feel great surgery wise though! They said I looked excellent at ER w/ incisions & stuff! Hopefully nothing else will go wrong! I just want to be back to normal. Word of advice - don't let anything go if you think somethings wrong - could be worse than you think!

Temben -
Glad you had this checked out today and are starting meds. It is surprising how quickly pneumonia can develop.
My dh is still recovering from pneumonia which suddenly showed up a month ago. We never suspected pneumomia when he first felt bad.

Take care of yourself,
