Definitely lost in the jungle..............

I'm lost in the jungle, which way out of here?????
I am 6 months post-op, TAH/BSO 1/5/01. Huge fibroids, endo, adeno, a cyst on my left ovary. 46 years old. Both ovaries taken during surgery. At my 6 week check-up, I complained about tears, mood swings, hot flashes, insomnia. DD put me on 0.3 mg premarin a day. She said she didn't want to increase dosage until 6 months had passed. I live in Florida but we come to NY for the summers. I had to get new prescriptions to bring up north and at that time DD asked how I was feeling........no changes. She said she really didn't want to increase the dosage yet -- that was back in May.
Well July 5th was 6 months since my surgery and the mood swings and hot flashes have gotten worse (she prescribed Bellamine for the insomnia and it seems to help but I still wake up every 2 hours, usually I can go back to sleep, some nights I have a hard time falling asleep, some nights I don't). I have an appointment with DD in September (we're going back to Florida end of August). But I feel as if there are tears just under the surface all the time and I have NO PATIENCE
