Magnesium Citrate!!!!!

Ok... I am sitting here reading to distract myself from the nasty foul taste of the drink for prep. At first sip, it wasn't bad. I was thinking, ok, I can handle this.

Then I took a big chug... gggggaghhh... I thought I was going to loose it...

Next, went to pour it in a cup... uh, no, that doesn't make it any better.

Now I am chasing it with water, but everytime I lick my lips I get an even more concentrated taste.... Please if you have any good suggestions, I have to finish this bottle and drink another one before bed tonight....

anybody...help me... please...

Oh I'm so sorry you're so miserable with it.

I'm not sure what the magnesium citrate is. I have to take the Fleet Phosphosoda, which I've heard many times is easier to handle ice cold and with a strong tasting chaser like a mint or cough drop.

Chug, chug, chug, chug - rinse - repeat : )

I did the mag citrate too and didn't find it too bad. I heard it tastes better if it's refrigerated. So when I chugged it my throat froze from the chilled "beverage" and I had to do it in two takes. The after taste was only a little icky and I don't advise breathing through your mouth until you can rise it out.

I chilled mine, then slurped it towards the back of my mouth through a wide diameter straw so that not so much of it hit my taste buds and none on my lips.

yea i hate that stuff so gross lol .. i had to chase mine down with gingerale the only way i could keep it down .. gross .. good luck

The colder the better for mag. citrate.

What flavor do you have? I didn't think the grape was too bad. Kind of salty. I had to drink only half a bottle, though.

Went for preop today Didn't get mag citrate just a fleet enema to use the night before.
