still having cold symptoms surgery tomorrow. has anyone gone into surgery with a cold

well my sore throat isnt as scratchy as it was, but i still have the sniffles. i have to call my doctor today. do you think they will cancel my surgery? i hope not. i'm so worried that they will and then i will have to wait and and worry again.
