Talking - Tuesday, Tuesday, 30th October Tuesday, Tuesday, 30th October

Morning!

Its just gone 6am here, I'm working 7.30 - 11.30 today, the kids are off for half term, so that will suit me fine, they'll have only been up an hour when I get back from work. I am picking up DsD and baby at 12.

Breakfast / Lunch (10am) ~ toast and cheese, cherry yoghurt
Snack (2pm) ~ chicken and tomato wrap
Dinner (6.30ish) ~ sweet and sour chicken stir fry, with chips or rice (not decided yet)

Billy is in for lots of walks today, he dug through the fence into next door's garden so he can't go out today, so he's been for one walk already this morning. I'll try and take him agai before I leave for work.

56 days to christmas, I haven't even started yet!

s to everyone, I have to now and get a quick bath, have a lovely day folks!

Morning Fran - but it's already afternoon at your house I hope your day is going as planned! I have good food for lunch and if I can avoid the snacks, or at least LIMIT them, then maybe today will be more successful than recent days. The addition of prune juice and generic Miralax are just extra calories but if I don't take them then my system kinda grinds to a halt Oh well. Salad for lunch - greens and tomato, and some toast with marmite (that's the plan, anyway).
Today I am determined - not sure about what, but by golly I'm gonna stay determined!

Have a great day - I'll check in later!

Morning all,
I am up, showered, hair washed, had my tea, cereal, meds and just need to put on my makeup for the doctor. Hopefully we will get some good news - Ineed my driving priveleges back.
I will let you know when I get back.
Lunch - I will decide on that when I get home from the doctor - I will eat if I get good news and if it is not good new - no eating - I am on strike.
Well I am off to get ready -
I will let you know later.

Good Morning my BEST friends!!

I just uploaded the photo of Nanno and I at our get together over the weekend. It's pending right now, but hopefully won't take too long.

Food today will be OP. I did ok yesterday, but didn't get in as much movement as I would have liked. Today will be better.

I'll check back in once I get more organized.

Hi Fran, Desk, and Lynn..and Hi's to all that follow!!

:leaves: Good morning...it's almost the end of OPtoberBEST!
And it's the day DH comes home! (6:30 tonight - if the plane is on time...)

So far OP for the day...have had my coffee & high fiber bread...yogurt to follow.
Lunch will be salad.
Need to get some food cooking for DH...crock pots were made for days like this.

I have purged my cupboards...there is room in them and almost all junk food is GONE! Now when I want junk I have to find an alternative...like fresh fruit or something. (Or weight watcher 1 point haystacks if I'm craving chocolate...have to be realistic!)

Good morning to Fran, Desk, Lynn, Nancy and all those following!

Well I joined here with good intentions and so far the food thing has been a downward spiral, eating habits are not in check. I have been trying and succeeding on the exercise, but I skipped walking today. I won't list my bad habit foods today and hopefully by giving myself some actual accountability to someone I will get better. I will try again tomorrow. Oh I almost forgot, I was wondering about diets , books on eating better for people who have cancer and if anyone had some good recommendations?

Beaner24,

Just a quick note ... Mainly to say hi (I keep missing all the new ladies).

I think we all have gooid intentions, but we fail ... BUTthe good news is we keep on trying, these ladies are great.
I am having surgery Thursday, but when I get back here, I PM you (PLEASE REMIND ME), my sister is a cancer survivor and is quite knowledgable about diet and nutrition, and I'll get some ideas from her).

Good luck and

Barri

Hi Jill!! Welcome!! You'll be very happy here!

I can't take time to read the posts right now, but will be back later to catch up!

I've been a very good girl. Halloween candy in the kitchen and I'v stayed away for TWO days!! Today will be the THIRD!! Scale is down 2.5 pounds. I've upped my water, so I'm sure the loss is only water, but it sure feels great to see it going down again!!

Pre breakfast...a beautiful autumn apple
Breakfast...(closer to noon, actually) toast with pb
Lunch...Diet pizza and later some fruit (pears, I think)
Snack...cottage cheese dip with 5 or 5 lowfat Triscuits
Dinner...left over roast ...open face beef sandwiches (with a tiny bit of potatoes and gravy)...steamed carrots
Snack...Cheerios and skim milk

Have a WONDERFUL OP day!
PJ
