Removing Ovaries 2 year after Hysterectomy

I thought this was all over and then had pain in my tummy. Now they need to remove my ovaries. I can't belive I am doing this again. Does anyone know if this is going to be as bad or worse than the first operation?

What about the hormone problems with having the ovaries removed?

Scared and confused...

Need advise and someone with experience.

Hi 61pandora, I had my ovaries removed 7 months after my hyst. My recovery from the hyst was physically easier than my BSO. I had more problems with my BSO and was in the hospital for 4 days. How are your ovaries going to be removed? I will be honest, I am still struggling with the hormone issue. I hope that you will have a dr who will work closely with you in this area. The best thing to do is to educate yourself, their is some good info in the article section. You may also want to look thru the hormone jungle for more information.
