Abdominal Binder Question
You can wear it as soon as you can tolerate your tummy being squished. My doc gave me one (at my mom's request) but I wear panty girdles instead. I tried the binder and could not breathe. The moderate coverage panty girdle provided me with enough support and I felt weird when I wasn't wearing it. I am still wearing one (went out and bought 5) and it helps me. I don't know how long I will wear it but it also helps smooth me out as well so that is cool.

Abdominal Binder Question
I had mine on after my surgery. I remember feeling it on when I was in the recovery room. It helped me SO much when I was in the Castle. I still wear it at night when I sleep. Great question, and that binder will help you during your post-op recovery.
Good luck!!

Abdominal Binder Question
I was told nothing about a binder, I learned from reading here, I have tight spanks, they were so comfy! Since they went down the thighs and up to right below my breats, I really feel held in and no cutting in... try one of them... good luck!

Abdominal Binder Question
I am really overweight and, while I was in the recovery room, complaining about pain, a nurse told me that they were getting my PCA/morphine drip ready but, in the meantime, they were going to put a tummy binder on me. It was tough to get it on because I'd just come out of surgery but it was definitely worth it. It had velcro so it was "adjustable."
Because my incision opened up, I ended up wearing my tummy binder for about 5 weeks, though, after about 3 weeks, I'd take it off for a few hours in the evening if I was just sitting around to let things "air out."
Giving me a tummy binder was one of the best things they did for me.
