Yep! I can have pain radiate down my leg from the right pelvic area and it usually stays in the front thigh area. Interestingly enough, there are questions regarding leg pain on the forum I just filled out for the endo specialist I am going to be seeing.

If the pain is in the calf area, it could be dehydration, low calcium, low potassium, etc. I used to have a lot of lower leg pain and taking calcium and watching my water intake has helped.

Hi, try putting 'Endometriosis sciatica' into Google and you will come up with the symptoms you describe. Here is a link to one article http://www.ajnr.org/cgi/reprint/16/7/1399.pdf

I starting looking as I have had bad leg pain since March and wondered if there was a link. I've recently had a MRI scan which confirms my leg pain to be sciatica based. The gyae also thinks I have endometriosis which was not removed when I had my TAH/BSO.

I am having keyhole surgery in less than 24hhs to remove severe adhesions and rework my hysterectomy scar and look for further endometriosis. Surprisingly my sciatic nerve pain disappeared for 2 weeks following a recent diagnostic lap.It has since re-appeared. I guess it is the position they place you in for the surgery.

My endo was worse on my right side and my right leg would hurt so bad, I felt like the joints were about to explode! All that's gone now though

Thank you for your reply's , I have looked at a lot of information, I have cysts on both my ovaries and have sciatic pain , the cure seems to be to have a total hysterectomy and remove my ovaries, this is a exploratory but at this point with the pain , I am going to ask for this, My operation is on Nov 20th and I can deal with the aftermath as oposed to the constant cycle of pain , endo can affect other areas , sciatic and can cause sholder pain as
well, I will let you know what happened

Please think carefully before having both ovaries removed and discuss it with your surgeon. I too had cysts, but now, at times, regret having both removed.

Got to go now, as on way to Hospital for op to try and fix remaining endometriosis and adhesions

Take care
