Side effects from the hormones?!

I take Enjuvia Oral and the first month was fine. Now for the last couple of weeks my blood pressure has risen a little bit and I've been having headaches and dizziness. My DR said I could halve the dosage but even that hasn't seemed to help much. Anyone else have problems with oral hormones? I know I need to take them, but I was wondering if maybe the patch had fewer side effects.

What does your Dr say? I haven't used the Enjuvia, but we are all different and sometimes do best on different methods of HRT. What works well, or doesn't work at all for one of us might work entirely different on another one of us.

Maybe you could ask your Dr to try another method of delivery. I am currently using the patch with good results. The patch, creams, and troche don't make that first pass through the liver like the Oral estrogens do, and that can make a big difference for some of us.
