Stressed and surgery one week away

Hi,
I know what you mean. My surgery is Nov 28, I had my pre-op labs today and my blood pressure as 171/101. And I though I was staying calm. My butterflies are getting bigger day by day. I'm just trying to relax and enjoy Thanksgiving Day, I'm going to vist my son and the new granddaughter. Boy is it hard staying calm. Hang in there and I'll see you on the Post-op board. My prayers are with you and all my hystersister.

Hi Sisters,

I am so right here with you! My TAH is Nov. 26, and I told my doctor that I needed Xanax or I would be hitting the Vodka everynight this week! LOL!! She whipped out the RX pad. I had planned to do so much but I am just so tired!!
All I want to do right now is sleep(even without the Xanax)
then last night I started with insomnia!!

I wish you lived closer!! I would pay you to clean my house!!LOL!!

With stress symptoms like these, you need to come to my house! I could use your energy!

Just teasing.

I hope I am not being stupid here-- but in six months this will be a distant memory.

I think that paper work that we have to sign in the hospital paper work that states that no matter how many mistakes they make or how grave the consequences that we will not hold them responsible puts people over the edge. Sheeeesh! That is just not reassuring.
