removal of one ovary and tube

Hello everyone,

Here's the story. Surgery was a week ago.
Had the right ovary and tube removed.
Very large tumor within ovary (still waiting for path. report)
Everything else seems to be fine.

A c-section incision was performed (horizontal)
Was in hospital just for overnight.
I can see improvement in getting out of bed and
walking around. Able to sit a little longer.
Urinating ok and BM have started (thank goodness)

Concern is this burning sensation (feels internal)
below incision. Called dr. Told to put ice on it.
Will see him next week to have "glue" removed.
No stitches or staples used. Just getting frustrated
with the burning from time to time.

Anyone have this problem?

removal of one ovary and tube

I had a TAH LSO (already had right ovary and tube removed in 94) and at the right corner of my incision I have a burning feeling when I move the wrong way. Not sure what it is, I thought it might be a staple that was too tight but staples are gone now, so unsure what it is.

i also had the right ovary and tube removed (totally benign complex mass on right ovary) as well as a LSH, and i've had that burning sensation, just on the right side. it feels very raw too. i did not have staples. i think it's from the surgery - it's pretty major. hope your pathology report comes back quickly with good news.
