Swelly Belly Band? /Back to work

I am 2 weeks out from TAH. Belly very tender & swollen. I have 4 more weeks to heal before I go back to work but I was wondering....I work in a very large retail store. I do stock most days. Most of the stock is 5-15 lbs but sometimes it is much heavier. My friend says she had to go back into surgery 8 months after her hyst. because of a hernia.....from lifting. This scares me! Would the bellly band help me at work??? I will try to be careful & ask for help whenever possible but sometimes it isn't possible (I am alone) I do plan on talking to my doc at post-op but that is still 3 weeks away. I thought if this band would help me I would order right now

I use the abdominal binder when I go running and it helps immensely. It also helps in the gym so I am sure it will help you in your job. Just ask your MD during your check up. Good luck!
