hot flashes and thyroid

Just want to remind you all that a thyroid problem can result in hot flashes, or your hot flashes becoming worse.
My hot flashes seemed worse this last couple of months, but I blamed it on the hot weather (it is very hot and humid here in St Louis!) .
I went for my regular checkup and bloodwork on my thyroid and was hoping that my meds were "off", causing the hot flashes to be worse. Of course I always hope that - but this time IT WAS. Yippee!
So I will pick up the new dosage of meds this PM and hopefully within even a few days I will notice a difference!
never go away for me, but at least they maybe will be less!
Going to wait a week or so to try the vitamin E and primrose oil to see how I feel.
