Ovaries and tubes, or just ovaries?

I'm rather confused about something. I had a hysterectomy in 2002. Did they remove my tubes at that time too?

If not, when I have my ovaries removed this Wednesday, will the tubes be removed at that time or just the ovaries.

(I used to be a nurse, and I currently teach anatomy and physiology, but I just can't seem to figure this out! Duh!)

I think common practice is the leave the tubes if they leave the ovaries, and to remove the tubes when they remove the ovaries.

Though the only one who really knows is your surgeon.

BSO is the removal of both tubes and ovaries.
