Weird feeling in legs?

I am 5 days post op and doing fairly well. I had LAVH and kept my ovaries.

I am wondering if anyone has experienced tenderness on top of your thighs? It sometimes feels like nerve pain, but it could be the muscles. After the surgery it felt like my legs would shake and the muscles sometimes twitch. Even today. When I first lay down I just want to stretch my legs. I go in for my 1 wk. on Tuesday. Any thoughts?

Weird feeling in legs?

Yes...I had this also....a little more in the right thigh than the left.....my surgery was almost 9hrs long so I attributed mine to muscle ache from positioning....but it did scare me at first....I also found when I laid down and wanted to stretch my legs and relax them...they seemed restless alot...these both lasted maybe a week or 2...

Weird feeling in legs?

I agree...it is a scary part of healing as you don't know what is normal and what is something to worry about....the best thing my doc told me was to expect about the 2nd week to start feeling twinges and jabbing pains in pelvic and abdominal region...she said these will come and go as the scar tissue forms and the nerve ending start to heal and awaken.....boy she was right on the money and it sure eased my fears when I felt them..they were just fleeting, last for few seconds, but could stop you in your tracks...so thought I would pass that on to you too!!!...Good luck, rest up!!!
