Biopsy last wed. still spotting... Is that normal?

Well I had my required pre-surgery biopsy last Wed. We tried the week before by my cervix was closed up tight for the duration. Last Wedendsay I was given some medication to open the cervix enough to get the equipment in there. It's what is used to induce labor! Jeeze, I was cramping, trying to pass out and had diarrhea! What an adventure.

Anyway, I'm still spotting and it's pretty red, is that normal? Got a call in to the Dr.'s assistant, waiting for a call back, but I'd thought I'd ask.

Biopsy last wed. still spotting... Is that normal?

I spotted for a week after my uterine biopsy, but then my period started a week after my biopsy, which lasted 7 days, and after that, I wasn't spotting. So, I for sure spotted for a week, but whether or not I would have spotted longer is unknown since I got my period.

but, I agree... call your doctor if you are concerned.

I bled off and on for a couple of weeks after my biopsy. I'm happy that you have a call in about it. I think that it's good to be cautious. I hope that you find that everything is normal.

Whoo Hoo! I'm normal!

I just talked to the Dr.'s assistant and the biopsy came back normal. And the spotting is normal too. Thanks to all for the info and encouragement. You ladies rock. :dance2:
