B complex vitamins

Hello, Merry Chirstmas....
I have a question about taking B complex vitamins,.. I am on a estrogen patch and feeling kind of edgy and anixouse at times, but I just tried to increase the dose because it was not enough, so I wonder if that could cause edgyness,... I started magneism and it helps some,... I am having a hard time with progesterone, depression and more flushes, leg cramps, I read this can be a side effect of it,.. so I wondered about taking b complex vitamins to see if it could help, I am not sure how much to take, Any suggests would be great, Thanks...

I also use a patch for estrogen replacement and have had the leg cramps and edginess after increasing my dosage. For me, it meant my dose was too high. I have to say the edginess had a different feeling from the edginess I feel when I don't have enough estrogen. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone. I actually had to switch to a different patch to get rid of the leg cramp. I also take magesium and B vitamins. They are both good choices for anyone on hormone therapy. Hope you find balance soon.

Junie,
I take a B complex vitamin, and also take B12 on the advice of my doctor and take 50mg B6. The B complex I take doesn't have alot of mg of the various B's. Perhaps you should check with your doctor to find the correct doseage for you.

B complex vitamins

My vitamin B complex has 50 mcg. of B12 and 50 mg. of B 6. I have heard that B12 injections can give energy but I have not heard that with oral preparations.
I use otc progesterone cream for l0-14 days a month. I can't use much as it seems to compete with the estrogen.

My estrogen dose seemed at a good level when I decided to add progesterone cream. Within 2-3 days I was feeling somewhat depressed and having hot flashes. I backed off some on the progesterone cream, using only half of what the manufacturer recommends. The first month was a little rough as I felt worse instead of better. Uzzi Reiss's book has been a help in trying to figure out what was going on. I don't think I will ever be able to tolerate an average dose of progesterone.
