Smelly discharge ~ anyone else?

Had an LSH on 12/10 and am doing well. Was greatful to get out of the hospital on 12/11 as while in recovery, the hospital gave my hospital bed to someone else and I had to spend the night in the recovery room. I am having a really smelly discharge. I am going to see the doctor tomorrow and will ask. Has anyone else had this problem? Other than the odorous discharge, everything is fine. I'm back in my jeans and I am my energy level is growing by the day. Thanks for all of the support that I have gotten through this website!

"texastoadfrog"--------did you go to TCU? or do you live in the Ft. Worth area? couldn't help but wonder........

as for smelly discharge.....I've noticed a "slight" odor that's not pleasant, I have been changing undies at 2-3 times a day, but it hasn't been really that bad.......went to dr. today and nothing was said.......be sure to ask your own dr. about it

Everything I've read is... some discharge, ok. Smelly odor, not ok.

Please check with your doctor to see if you have an infection.

You're gonna have a slight odor no matter wha its our body getting rid of the blood and healing... I had surgery in September and it was a TVH.... If its smelling real foul like fish or something worse, PLEASE GO TO THE DOCTOR

Went to the doctor and was advised that I do have a slight infection. It is due to an abrasion that I received due to a device used to hold the cervix in place during the LSH. The Dr used hydrogen peroxide and silver nitrate and then gave me a vaginal antibiotic that I have to do for five nights and then I should be good to go. He did say that the stitches I had would smell kinda funny too as they began to disolve.
