Strange symptoms with the breast?

Hey all...Im pretty well 3 months post op!
Just with in the last week or two I've been experiencing some strange breast symptoms. Almost as if they are filling with milk! Very large and sore and I have some discharge from the nipple. Has anyone ever experienced this? Its the exact feeling of how i was after giving birth...only im not expressing milk?!?!!! Very strange and very sore....any ideas?

Strange symptoms with the breast?

It's not unusual to experience sore breasts following a hysterectomy ~ due to hormone fluctuations ~ until everything settles down. I was extremely sore for 6-8 weeks following surgery.

However, as this appears to have suddenly started at 3 months post-op ~ especially with a discharge ~ it would be best if you contacted your doctor to get it checked.

Will you let us know what you find out? I hope things settle down, very soon. Take care!

I am assuming you are on HRT since you are so young. If so there could be a need for an adjustment. I would talk to your doctor about this. I had a pituitary tumor that caused this to happen, but it is benign and nothing an endocrine doctor can't handle. Good luck. Please let us know how it goes.
