Any suggestions????
Hi, everyone. My surgery was postponed due to thyroid problems. I have an appointment with the endocrinologist on Thursday to go over blood tests results and to see if I am healthy enough to go ahead and schedule surgery. However, this morning when I woke up I was in excrutiating pain. It felt like I was ovulating and this severe pressure in my uterus. It felt like I was in labor. I took a pamprin and this made me drowsy. Also, I take 200 mg twice a day of metaprolol which helps me with the chest pain and shortness of breath I experienced with the thyroid disease. I really don't know what to do; I thought about changing doctors which my ex-mother-in-law feels would help. She is a nurse and feels that my current physician isn't worth a dime because she did not detect the thyroid disease. It took a cardiologist and an specialist to make this determination which I thank God because I could have died on the operating table. I am really tired and sick of this pain and I am so bloated I look 6 months pregnant. Thank God I am not bleeding to add to this misery. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to cope until I have this surgery? Thank you.
