Talking - Midway Monday, 14th January Midway Monday, 14th January

Morning!

Actually, it's more like here!

Have had some kind of a virus all weekend, headache that wouldn't shift, achy and feeling out of sorts. Thankfully, feeling a little better today!

I'm off to weigh shortly, not expecting a loss, but hoping not to have gained either!

Breakfast ~ muesli w/yoghurt
Lunch ~ ham salad sandwich
Dinner ~ DDs chicken dinner that she didn't eat yesterday

Exercise will be plenty of up and downstairs in work and a nice walk with Billy this evening, provided it doesn't rain (again!)

Have a good day all! Not had time to read back this morning!

Hi Fran and Ali

Fran, I"m glad you are feeling better and you are able to get all your planned walkies in!
Ali, sounds like a great plan for today!

I've had my 32 oz weak tea, and am about to have a yogurt with fruit and oats. Salad for lunch. BP remains nice and low which is strange since I was so afraid that I was developing hypertension last year at this time. Now as I fret over the economy (parents finances) I wonder if it will rise again?

Planning to go to Curves after work -

Have a great day, my BEST friends!!

Good Monday Morning Everyone!

I'm so very sore today. But got lots and lots of movement over the weekend. DH and I painted the ceiling and rafters in the basement room we are re-doing. I didn't get a chance to post over the weekend much, but we got that ceiling done.

Today, once the ice melts a bit, I'll head out to Curves, and I'll walk. Food is my usual OP breakfast and lunch. I've come to enjoy both of those, so no problems unless I forget to get food.
Dinner isn't planned yet, but I am going to find something to cook. We ate on the fly most of the weekend, and I want to make a nice meal.

I need to get in a bit more water than I've been drinking. So I'll work on that this week.
Have a BEST OP day!

Morning All!

Here's a little hope for us as we begin the new year! I'm trying to decide what I can cut from my regular routine. Maybe losing the sweetened tea will be my ten pounds. Fingers crossed.

http://realage.typepad.com/food_bite...siest-w-1.html

My ketosis seems to be under control. It lingers a little, but I FEEL better today. Journaling continues. The weekend was not great...BDay party celebration for M&D and DH, since we are all finally home again. Today is going to be better. Weight holds steady at one pound down. I'll take it...it's been awhile!

Will come back during break to catch up. Hope all are well!!

Prebreakfast...banana
Breakfast...toast with pb
Snack...apple with a few nuts
Lunch...? Maybe a salad with a hard boiled egg? or sweet potato
Snack...Triscuits and cottage cheese dip
Dinner...roast beef with the fixins'
Snack...Cheerios

Have a GREAT day!!

Good morning Ali, PJ, Fran, Nancy, Desk and all who follow,

I tried to get on the this morning, but after 10 minutes I was needed by Dh and Kramer. My sleep schedule is really off. I usually go to bed at 10:00-10:30 and get up at 6:30-7:00. Well I am still going to bed at my usual time, but have to get up with the dogs at 4:00-5:00. (When Kramer wakes up you MUST get him outside). If it is at 4:00 we all go back to bed and I fall asleep for 2 more hours, but I feel yucky after that ... I should just stay up.

Well, anyway I was at least able to get on the treadmill.

Food for today,

Toast w/pb and tea
Fiber one bar
Cherrios w/dried cranberries
steamed broccoli
pork chops, salad and mac and cheese (I know ... that is a BIG )
S ... orange, apple

Everyone have a great day.

Hi!

Here's a quick question for you journalers out there....

Do you count peanut butter as a fat or a protein? Is that is silly question? I've been counting it as one of my meat servings (actually only a partial serving as I don't use much...not crazy about it), because I'm not a big meat eater (only for dinner).

Thanks BESTERS!!!

Evening everyone

Just checking in... the good news is that I was down .5 pound for my "official" weigh in this morning.

Bads news is that our boiler went yesterday & comfort food has been top on my list -- which means carbs!! It's all been journaled & added to the day's points. On the plus side, actually seeing this in writing makes me want to make sure that tomorrow is heavy with veggies & fruits.

So... as I just cleaned the house Saturday because of Friday's mess -- I get to do it all again

Ok... just wanted to stay accountable -- I'll check in later this week
