Drive home from the hospital?

Hope you don't mind me jumping in,but regards to the journey home-which type of vehicle will be best?We have a 4WD-which i would have to climb 'up' into, but could slide and 'drop' out of once home,or a saloon, which I could 'drop' into, but will have to climb out when I get home.

Drive home from the hospital?

Hey, feel free to jump in. We asked the same question and based on what I read, I opted for our Yukon Denali. I also have a Ford Explorer and a Mazda 626.

I will tell you that I was comfortable with the step up and the slide down. My truck has running boards so I just used them getting in and out. I would venture to say that everyone is different, but the way I was feeling on discharge, I am glade that we did not choose the car.

Drive home from the hospital?

Ohhhh, about which vehicle...I would have to say the shorter one. It would be easier to stand with your back to the seat and hold onto someone's hands as they easy you down into the seat or pull you up from the seat than if you had to climb in. I think sliding down and out of a seat would cause apprehension because it will not really be a slow controlled movement like having someone pull you up into a standing position or ease you down into a sitting position.
