Compounded Dhea, Testosterone & Cortisol
Just got results back from saliva test. Said I was low on Dhea, Test. & Cortisol, my Estrogen was within limits and my Progestron was a little low. I just began taking the pill form of all the hormones I am low on, with the exception of Progestrone. I've been on that so they just increased the dosage 25mg at bedtime. I was just curious as to how soon I should feel the results from adding all this new stuff. I've been extremely tired and achey for some time now. I know that at 5 months I am still healing but really expected to be back to my normal self by now. Any information would be greatly appreciated. It seem I wake with a new pain every other day. Can't wait for this to level out.

Hi, just wanted to ask . . are you keeping a journal? This is such a great tool to analyze your symptoms when you add a hormone or take a hormone away. It's just so difficult to remember all the little details and try to associate them with a specific treatment. A journal helps keep it all straight. I'm only taking the estradiol and progesterone regularly with testosterone once a week so I don't have any experience with the other replacements. I do know that my system notices any change, good or bad, in my hormone levels very quickly. I don't have to wait weeks to sense whether something is working or not. But everyone is different and responds differently.

Yes, when I see any significant symptoms. I hope all these other things are really necessary. I mean it makes since cause I just don't have much energy, even though I am sleeping pretty good. I don't know maybe it just takes time to get all your energy back after major surgery. I feel like I felt better right after surgery than I do now. Such a rollercoaster ride. Had know idea it would be like this. But I guess it could be worse, I could be dealing with cancer. Thanks for your hep
