Sunny Sunday Jan 20th
Good Afternoon BESTers
Can't believe I'm starting this thread this late in the day. Is everyone burried under the covers keeping warm? I've got on sweater leggings under my sweat pants. But I'm toasty.
Food today so far has been not exactly OP.
Bkft: oatmeal w/ all natural cereal added (total of a heavy 1/4 dry ) Not sure what that makes after its' cooked. About double I think (about 1/2C?). Hot tea.
Snack: 2 slices whole wheat toast w/reduced fat peanut butter (2 tbsp) and hot tea.
Dinner: will be 1- 2" square homemade lasagna and side salad. It's in the oven now and house will smell wonderful. I've been craving it for some reason.
I've got popcorn in the house (lite popcorn) for snacks w/movie this evening. Did get out to chase the doggies around the yard. Didn't stay out too long - just too blustry for them and for me! It only got up to 28F today - have no idea what the wind chill is. But it's freezing.
Bundle up girls. Winter is just getting started!
Nancy - you watch those below 0 temps. Wind chills do more damage than we think. Your a brave one. Just think - I hope it never happens- but you can have wine while hidding in your tornado celler waiting for the all clear.

Thanks for starting the thread, Melissa! I was off early to with DH and Cooper, then to see my folks, file Dad's nails, then and now the day is almost over!! Had yogurt and blueberries for breakfast, then macaroni and spaghetti sauce for lunch with the last bit of chicken sausage. Too much, saved a serving for dinner for each of us, or for lunch tomorrow. Salad and yogurt for sure tonight, anyway. Some cookies that just had to be baked. A weak moment. There is only one bag (one dozen
dough balls) left and I'll keep them for a few more weeks or months, no problem. Cooper and I braved the weather, 12 degrees F in our driveway this morning, but it's somewhat warmer now. They are salting the roads again so I guess we are going to have more snow (or threat of snow, anyway!)

Melissa, Desk and anyone who pops in,
Still feeling schlumpy and that headache will not go away
Food yesterday was not too bad and today was off OP but still not too bad. When I got home from Church DH was in the kitchen cooking pinto beans, not too bad, then some cornbread type pancake. I am glad to see him up and doing something around here ... even if it does mean more work for me ... my kichen is a mess Tomorrow is my get back on track day.
Well, better go check on the football game and see how it is back there.
