Ovulation.. where do the eggs go?

Correct me if I am wrong but when your ovary releases an egg it travels down the fallopian tube and into the uterus where it is either fertilized or not.. hence conception or menstrual cycle. Well now that I have now more uterus or cervix, where in the word do the eggs go? Does your body just absorb them?

I would think that the body absorbs them.

I have my ovaries too and I think the same thing. Our bodies just absorb them. It is kind of weird but that is what happens.
