I know that's not what you wanted to hear -- but at least you have an answer now. Here's hoping the cyst resolves itself.

I too hope that your cyst resolves itself...but I'd rather have the ovary out than to risk having another cyst and it rupturing! That's what happened to my right ovary and then 5 wks later when they went in to do the hyst the left ovary already had a cyst and it was beginning to rupture. The pain for me was unbearable! You're a better woman than I if you can deal with that kind of pain!

Keep us posted. I was thinking about you and was interested in what your ultrasound showed. Perhaps there will be a miracle and it will go away. Perhaps you will have a better quality of life getting rid of the source of all your pain. Hang in there and hopefully you have some great pain meds to help you through the next four weeks. I still have fond memories of taking vicodin at work, at church and even several trips while at Disneyland just to get through the day from my 8 centimeter endometrioma on my left ovary. As you know life has to keep going. Now Vicodin makes me sick to my stomach. Let us know how you are doing and the next step. Hugs!!
