New and just feeling YUCK!! Vent..

Hi Everyone,
Well, I am 13 days out for my partial and yesterday woke up nauses(puking) and sneezing went through the day ok. Then got sick again last night and just got really scared thinking about the surgery. This morning woke up feeling better but mother nature has visited me and I am on the pill until the surgery, just feeling like crap and a little headachy, worried I have came this far and will be sick before the surgery. Just feeling like YUCK!! I have my pre-op on Friday but considering going to the Doctor on Monday if not any better. I just do not want a small something turn into something big before surgery. Thanks for listening!! Just getting scared, it is sinking in....

I am sorry you are not feeling well!

You might want to give your doctor a call on Monday and see if you need to be seen. Illness is one reason for hysterectomies being postponed so your doctor may have some suggestions to help you feel better to avoid a cancellation. Do remember that this close to your surgery most medications, supplements, and vitamins are a so if you do need to take anything to help your symptoms, be safe and ask your doctor first!

Sending best wishes and S your way! Try to rest and feel better!

just remember, if you happen to be too sick to have surgery , it is for your own safety. stinky as that is you wouldnt want to have any complications due to you cold...my surgery has been postponed b/c i was sick.. i tell ya... that was a huge bummer, i just want this over... however. even though i have to wait till april now(my lungs are still junkie and i'm coughing still)dr wants to make sure i am good and well.. so just keep in mind, just in case ...that it will be ok...just prepare your self for both sinerios...that way if... you wont be soooo depressed... just take good care of yourself for now and hope you feel better...ps.... just think if your surgery is postponed, you will have a little extra time to get prepared.i'm just trying to grasp onto something positive here for ya...glass half full.....versus glass half empty..
also: as stupid as this sounds try to keep your chin up(really hard to do)but i found that while i've been sick i took advantage of all the girlie flicks, funny movies that i wanted to watch.(that normally i didnt have time to)i dragged myself out of my dark bedroom and tried to sit in a room filled with the sunshine, even sat in the sunrays when i could...now there are clouds covering that, but i had to get my butt out of that bed ..when all i wanted to do was pull the covers over my head...vent away girl, that was a huge part of my recovery from pnumonia......pamper the princess you are...

Update on sick before surgery..

Thank you ladies for the support the other day with feeling ill before surgery. I went to the doctor today and they gave me a antibiotic shot and a steriod shot, I have a sinus infection trying to fester up. I was also, gave Z-pac which will be finished the day of my pre-op on Friday. It really is getting overwhelming emotionally, at first I thought no big thing, but it is emotional. My hubby keeps asking me are you going to feel better after the surgery and recovery? He and the kids want SuperMom back who can play football, basketball, fish, and have disco night for all their friends, LOL!! And you know what I want me back, not the crampy, menstural, pmdd, person.. Thanks again ladies, I hope to get over this infection and then surgery so I can help others before surgery..I know if I need support or questions where to come.
What is done during the pre-op with doctor and diagnostic clinic?
