Off to pre-op with creepy crud cold & cough

Well, I've waited and waited to get the procedure done and now fate smacks me down with a terrible head cold and slight fever.
I kept my pre-op anyway because I wanted some answers to a great deal of questions.
I really hope that I can still go through with it next week.
Here is me leaving with my fingers crossed......

I'm sorry you're sick. You still have a few days so hopefully, with some TLC, hot soup and fluids, you will be well before your castle day gets here! Did you see your doctor at your pre-op and did he/she give you any meds or suggestions for your cold?
