I had my surgery ....hurting.

I hurt so bad. I had I believe the TVT I am so sore. Also I had to come home with a cath because I could not urinate. Get to try again Tuesady. Anyways this sure is no picnic. Has anyone else had these problems? The incisions hurt so bad.

I'm so sorry you're in so much pain. Rest...rest...rest. This was not a simple procedure that you had. Take your pain meds and take care of yourself. I've been pleased with my results, and I've stayed in contact with my urologist when I've had questions or problems. I had to have my urethra dialated in his office once which helped with the problems that I was having. Keep your lines of communication open with your doctors if you have any questions.

Take care of yourself, and I'm hoping that you'll be better than new soon.

Hang in there and please let us know when you get the cath out and you can urinate. Try not to panic about that some peoples bladder just doesn't like the tvt in you have to remember that it is constricting what the bladder wants to do and your bladder is reacting to that.

Last time I was in the lady opposite me couldn't urinate at all and had to be cathed so it happens to more people than they probably tell you about.

It always amazes me how people are lead to believe by some of these doctors that this is an easy, painless, day surgery. It is invasive, complicated and its sore, there is no easy way to get those needles through. Take your pain meds and try to relax and rest.
