Having better bladder control

Hi,

I have found out one thing since my surgery that is alot better.

With having such sinus problems, the flu and bronchitits since my surgery 2-07-08, Being sick with such I cough, sneeze and have to blow my nose alot and before my surgery, when I was sick like this I would have to be changing my undies and pants more than one time a day.

I told my reg doc when I saw her Friday well I may be pretty sick right now but at least I sure can tell the difference in my bladder control now.

Having better bladder control

Same here - I had one fibroid under my bladder and one behind it. Haven't released any urine during a sneeze or cough since (not that I do those often - pretty painful until a couple of days ago !). YIPPIE to unexpected happy outcomes !

Having better bladder control

This is a problem that I have had develop since surgery. It is the pits. I can't hold it for anything anymore. I hate to even turn on the kitchen sink to rinse the dishes because it sometimes causes me to wet myself a little. I hate this and only hope that it is due to the extensive repairs that I had done 8 weeks ago tomorrow. She originally had me scheduled for a bladder sling but decided against it for some reason. That may have been a mistake because I hate what is happenng to me now.

Having better bladder control

I had mild incontinence (just moving or getting up) before my surgery, my uterus was huge and I always had to go too. Plus if I sneezed or laughed I peed. My gyn/onc said to expect this to continue after surgery and I was none too happy about this. I am so happy that this did not continue after my surgery and I cannot wait till my six-month f/u to tell him this. Now I have to find someone to give my Poise pads to.
