Prayers for DD

My DD has been in need of prayers for quite some time now. Some of you know her story and have already been praying for her and our family.

I just wanted to update you to know that she called tonight and that it was a good day!!! She went to bible study tonight ~ something she hasn't done in years. She has stayed away from church as much as she could b/c she always feared that God could never possibly forgive her for the things she had done in her life. They actually talked about that and by the time they left, she had met a couple of others who had some of the same issues and they stopped and put their arms around her and just prayed right there in the driveway. She cried and just let it all out. When she called me, I heard her sound happy for the first time in ages.

I know God is answering our prayers and she will make it thru this in His time. I am so thankful for this one good day. There have been so many bad ones lately. This is like the first light after a terrible storm.

I'd like to ask for your prayers that she will have an open heart and mind to receive Gods grace, His love and His forgiveness. I know that one day she will be able to function free of her disorders and addictions, but the process is hard and the road is long. Help us to remember to turn it over to God each day anew and live in faith. I'd also like to ask that you'll keep my younger DD in your prayers b/c she worries so for her sister.

Our family will heal and God will use all of these struggles for His good and His glory. I know in my heart of hearts this to be true. Somedays are just harder than others. I am so blessed for this good day.

I am so glad DD had a good day today. Hopefully she will have many more to come and things will get back to normal. We will still continue to send you prayers and we are thinking of you always.

Father God, we are lifting up Karen and her dear daughters to you, we know that it was your Holy Spirit that led her to Bible study, and to call her Mom. Thank you for these Divine blessings. Please if you would continue to speak to her DD's heart, drawing her closer to you, let her see that you love her and will forgive her, all she has to do is trust your will. Help Karen 's youngest DD, calm her fears and ease her worries, comfort Karen's heart, hold her together, give her and her family strength, courage, through this difficult emotional time. Keep them in your loving tender arms, guiding , healing them with your grace, let the bond between them grow stronger and the love deeper. Surround them with your inner peace, let your will be done, in your gracious name, Amen.
