First visit!
Hello everyone,
This is my first time here. I have had endometriosis for some time now and have recently found out I have adenomyosis too. I am due to have my op on 14th August - TAH/BSO and removal of the endometriosis by diathermy. I only found out 4 days ago - a bit of a shock that it's so soon, but glad I don't have to wait too long.
I feel worried, apprehensive, relieved, subdued, scared, elated and surreal all at the same time. Is this unusual??? I suspect not.
I have to say, I only just found your site today and it is phenomenal!!! Thank you so much for all the encouragement and support. Good luck to everyone for their day and - see you all at the top of the hill!
Julie

Hello Julie,
I replied to your post in looking for August sisters but me I forgot to mention that we share the same date. I will have my surgery for uterine prolapse. It is scheduled at 8:00 a.m.
Your varied emotions are as you said, very, very, very, normal. Guess you get the idea
Take care,

Hi Julie Welcome to Hyster Sisters. I'm so happy you've found us.
Believe me, it's normal to be overwhelmed and apprehensive at the thought of this major surgery. I was a basket case when I first scheduled my hyst and I'd known for 2 years that this was a distinct possibility
I found that reading the pull-down menus available at the bottom of the Hyster Sisters Home Page really helped calm me down and prepare for my big day. You might also want to visit the Chat Room, where you'll meet other and
Wishing you the best of luck. We'll be right there with you.
