Can surgical clip cause pain?

Hi, everyone. Does anyone know if a surgical clip can cause complications? I have some pain near my tailbone area and sometimes it radiates out a bit. Bone issues have been ruled out but the MRI found a metal clip in the vicinity. I had 3 surgeries, 2 for endo and the last one was TAH. Has anyone had a similar experience? I have had this pain for almost 4 years.

It's worse when I sit or stand for prolonged periods (standing being the worst).

Hi I have heard of clips causing pain later on, but that is not usual. Most of the time they are not noticeable.

Do you have copies of your surgery reports so you can tell during which surgery you had the clip placed?
