Too many side effects, what do I do???

Okay, I have side effects of too much and too little estrogen. I have been having an increase in headaches (and it is always in the same spot which really freaks me out), bloating, increase in sex drive, and then there is the night sweats, hot flashes, anxiety and insomnia. How can I be having all of these? I don't know what to do. I feel totally trapped in this new body that I don't know how to take care of. I can't get my ovaries back and I don't like the new me. I am only 35 and I am stuck with this. What do I do?

From what you have described, I would say you are not getting enough estrogen. I am 36 and had both ovaries removed. The .0375 patch dose was not enough for me. I didn't feel nearly as good on it as I do now. I am on Vivelle Dot .075 at the moment and I will be switching to Femring. Has your Dr tested your estrodial level lately to see what is going on?

Joeyanne,
.0375 is a very low dose. Have you talked with your doctor about increasing your doseage? Headaches are a classic sign of low estrogen, they sure were for me. It can take some tweaking of your doseage to find the right doseage for you.

in there. It can get better, but it may take some time and patience and tweaking.
